About The Workshop
Operators of Title V, synthetic minor, small, and area sources of air pollutants are often faced with a complex and somewhat confusing set of requirements under North Carolina’s air quality regulations and individual air permits.

Now you can learn first hand what the regulators from the North Carolina Division of
Air Quality (DAQ) will expect from operators of each type of source in 2008.

For this year's program DAQ staff from the compliance section has developed the agenda So if you have any questions about air compliance issues in North
Carolina, this is the program to attend.

The morning session of the Workshop will focus on issues common to all regulated air
emission sources. You will learn about important new rule changes, how to make inspections run smoothly, the top ten NOVs, emission inventory and greenhouse gases, stack testing, and new development under 112(r).

In the afternoon, Workshop attendees will have the choice of attending one of two
concurrent sessions.

The concurrent session for Title V sources will focus on issues specific to such sources
including: permit audits, 112(j) and the vacated boiler MACT, visible emission observations, and enforcement.

The concurrent session for non-Title V sources (synthetic minor, small, and area
sources) will focus on air quality regulations, guidance, enforcement and permitting issues specific to such sources.

Both sessions will have an enforcement panel from the regional offices and the Raleigh compliance staff to answer your questions.

Questions:
In order to ensure that the Workshops address any specific questions attendees may have, attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance to MCIC.
